Guiyang Metro Line 3 is innovative and intelligent, allowing you to scan the QR code to enter the station

Guiyang Rail Transit Line 3 is the third subway line in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, China. Construction started on December 30, 2018 and it will be put into operation on December 16, 2023.

Line 3 starts from Tongmuling in Huaxi District, passes through the Economic Development Zone, Nanming District, Yunyan District, and ends at Luowan in Wudang District. It has a total of 29 stations and 28 sections. It can transfer with Lines 1 and 2 at Beijing Road Station and Yan’an West Road Station. It has 1 depot, 1 parking lot, 3 main substations and 1 operation control center. The line is 43.03 kilometers long and uses 6-car B-type trains with a maximum operating speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

After the opening of Line 3, the operating hours are from 6:20 in the morning to 23:00 in the evening, and the whole day is 17.6 hours. The fare is based on the mileage pricing system, with a minimum of 2 yuan and a maximum of 9 yuan.

In this project, we achieved the following goals:

  2. Convenient ticket management: The QR code ticketing system can realize electronic ticket management, reduce the use of physical tickets, and reduce ticket costs and management difficulties.
  3. Improve service quality: Through the QR code scanner, passengers can more conveniently obtain station information, train schedules and other services, improving service quality and passenger experience.
  4. Enhance security: The QR code ticketing system can realize real-name authentication and electronic ticketing records, improving the security and traceability of ticket management.
  5. Adapt to diverse needs: The QR code scanner supports multiple payment methods, such as WeChat, Alipay, subway APP, etc., which is convenient for passengers to choose payment methods and adapt to diverse needs.
